Turisas

Turisas es un grupo de folk metal formado en Finlandia, en 1997. Toma su nombre del dios finés de la guerra.

Sus melodías combinan el folk y el battle metal, es decir, letras épicas , voz gutural, todo tipo de juegos con las guitarras y la batería, y mucha sinfonía de violines, trompetas, violoncellos, coros etc.

Es de destacar la gran popularidad que han alcanzado en poco tiempo, ya que solo llevan editados tres álbumes gracias a su estilo "innovador" dentro de la mezcla que practican.

Desde el dia 8 de septiembre, el bajista Hannes Horma y la acordeonista Netta Skog abandonaron la banda respectivamente por motivos personales
